Realme is all set to introduce its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 7 Pro, in India on November 26. Positioned as a high-end offering, the Realme GT 7 Pro will compete with some of the popular 2024 flagships, including the iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, and iPhone 16. While the iPhone 16 is already available in India, the iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13 are yet to make their Indian debut. These devices, including the Realme GT 7 Pro, recently launched in the Chinese market, giving a clear view of their specifications. So, the excitement is mostly around what could be the India price of the next-gen Android flagships.
With a history of competitive pricing, Realme is expected to follow a similar strategy with the GT 7 Pro, making it one of the more affordable flagship smartphones in the market.
The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs 55,000 in India. In China, the device is available for CNY 3,699, which is approximately Rs 43,800 when converted to Indian currency. Realme has traditionally maintained competitive pricing in India, adjusting the price slightly higher to account for local taxes and import duties.
A comparison with past launches supports this price estimate. For example, the Realme GT 6, which lacked a Pro version, was launched in China at CNY 2,799 (around Rs 32,650). When it arrived in India, it was priced at Rs 35,999, indicating a price difference of almost Rs 5,000. Given this pattern, the GT 7 Pro could see a similar increase, positioning it under Rs Rs 55,000 price segment.
The Realme GT 7 Pro will enter the competitive flagship market, with the iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13 as key rivals. The iQOO 13 is expected to be priced under Rs 60,000 in India, given that its predecessor, the iQOO 12, was launched at Rs 52,999. In China, iQOO has kept the price of the iQOO 13 same as the iQOO 12, indicating a likely stable pricing approach for the Indian market as well. OnePlus, another strong competitor in the premium segment, is expected to price its OnePlus 13 under Rs 70,000 in India.
These prices are based on previous launch events and China launches, so people are advised to take these details with a pinch of salt. You can stay tuned to India Today tech for the coverage of these phones.
